Space Frida (2026)
"Space Frida" reimagines the universe not as a cold vacuum, but as a personal sanctuary of peace—an internal field of daisies and spring breezes. It is a reminder that the most vast and beautiful universe is the one we create within ourselves.
One time I was in the car, and "Rocket Man" came on. I followed it up with "Space Man" to keep the space vibe going. While I was looking at the cover and listening to the song, a thought popped into my head: why "spaceman" and not "spacewoman"? Why do we still mostly picture men when we think of astronauts? Right then, I had this clear image of my own "Space Frida." But I wanted to add more meaning to it—to make space a place for our dreams, a place where you can escape your worries. A place where you can just close your eyes and find your own cozy, peaceful universe. For me, that "space" is a field of daisies, the smell of fresh grass, and a light spring breeze. You don’t have to fly far away; you can create your own universe right around you. Nothing is impossible if you really want it.
