Who I am
I am Oleksandra Roche-Newton (ORN), a visual artist working at the intersection of Naive Art, Pop Art, Symbolism, and Abstraction. My art is a manifesto of energy and sincerity—a reflection of my worldview that I am thrilled to share with you. For me, painting is a form of meditation and a process of inner exploration, where inspiration is drawn directly from my surroundings.
What I Explore
In my works, you will find reflections of nature and mountains—not as they appear, but as I see them in the moment. My art captures the play of color and raw emotion, my love for animals, the symbolism woven into individual elements, and a sense of feminism that encourages one to listen to their inner self.
The "Frida" Series: A Manifesto of Inner Vision
A special place in my portfolio belongs to the series entitled "Frida." These are portraits of women with closed eyes and a signature monobrow. They are not merely dreaming or sleeping—they are looking inward. When we close our eyes, the external noise fades away, and we can finally hear our true voice.
These paintings convey a vital message about self-discovery, inner strength, and the necessity of finding a pause in a turbulent world. They serve as a reminder to everyone: the most important things are those we nurture within ourselves.
My Mission
My paintings are designed to fill a space with light and color, reminding us of the raw beauty found in simple forms.
